MOUNT VERNON— Ryan Wells, pastor of Living Life Church in Dublin, spoke to the Brewton-Parker student body Tuesday, Sept. 27, in Saliba Chapel. To begin, Wells asked his listeners “How can you love God and hate people?” He instructed students to show a Christ-like attitude and resolve to have a deeper relationship with Jesus. Following the parable of the Good Samaritan (Luke 10), he encouraged, “Pray that you will have eyes to see, a heart to give, the confidence to use what you have, and the courage to do what must be done.”
Accompanied by alumnus, Dallas Wilke, the BPC choir led worship as they sang traditional hymns, preparing the congregation to receive the message in reverently.
