MOUNT VERNON—A group of students met at Jone’s Lake, located in the middle of the Brewton-Parker College campus, for the annual Fishing Rodeo on Friday, September 16th. Thanks to warm weather and hungry fish, the event lasted from 10 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., and there were plenty of winners. For the boys, Jason Baxley caught the most fish - and of them, the smallest. Jonathan Brown caught the largest and ugliest fish. For the girls, Anamecia Torres caught the most fish, Amber Egan caught the smallest and ugliest fish, and Nicolasa Torres caught the largest fish.
