MOUNT VERNON— Brewton-Parker College students enjoyed a chance to cool off with some friendly competition on a Slip’N’Slide set up beside the Library Plaza on Tuesday, August 21. Baby oil and sprinklers provided a quick race down the hill, and for more adventurous students, over the edge into the Library Plaza. Students who did not want to get wet enjoyed slushies and popcorn near the Parker Gym while cheering on their friends. This is an annual event hosted by the Baptist Collegiate Ministries. The BCM meets every Monday at 8 p.m. in the Briscoe Building.
