On Tuesday, Nov. 27, the Brewton-Parker choir treated the chapel congregation as they led worship. Guest speaker Rev. Jason Jones, a BPC graduate, based his sermon off of Matthew 7:13-14. He entitled it “Two Roads, but Two Very Different Destinations.”
Key Points from Jones’s message:
- The wide road, or the “Road to Destruction,” results in no joy and the damnation of the soul.
- The narrow road, or the “Road to blank,” is paved with hope and the Lamb of God.
- There is a road that runs from earth to heaven, and a road that runs from earth to hell, but there will never be a road that runs from hell to heaven.
- Jesus is the only way to heaven.
Jones is currently the pastor of Isabella Baptist Church in Sylvester, Ga. This was the thirteenth of fourteen chapels.
