BPC Receives Funds from Georgia Baptist Convention

Mike Simoneaux, right, president of Brewton-Parker College in Mount Vernon, accepts a check for $50,000 from Georgia Baptist Convention Executive Director J. Robert White on behalf of the Baptist Health Care Ministry Foundation. Simoneaux was one of 50 recipients from among 108 applicants for grants totaling $2,404,978. The grants were presented at the Baptist Missions and Ministry Center in Duluth on Feb. 9. The funds will be used to develop community wellness and outreach
