Lisa Taylor Crowned Miss BPC 2012

  Brewton-Parker College held its annual Miss BPC Pageant on Saturday evening, Feb. 11. Eight young ladies, each a picture of grace and beauty, competed for the crown and a chance to represent the college in community service and outreach events during her yearlong reign as Miss BPC.

BPC Receives Funds from Georgia Baptist Convention

BPC Homecoming King, Queen Crowned

  Brewton-Parker College crowned Anamecia Torres and Joshua McPhatter Homecoming Queen and King Saturday, Feb. 11 at a ceremony inside the Gillis Gymnasium.
BPC Makes a Joyful Noise
  A wonderful chorus was heard in Saliba Chapel Friday, Feb. 17 as Brewton-Parker College hosted a free concert by the Jubalheirs, a praise and proclamation ministry comprising 125 female ministry leaders from churches throughout the state of Georgia. Students, staff, and local families joined together to hear the ladies perform accompanied by a full orchestra, piano, and organ.

  Dr. Emir Caner, President of Truett-McConnell College in Cleveland, Georgia, spoke at Brewton-Parker’s chapel February 21. Dr. Caner used Isaiah 9:2-6 as his focal passage.

Former Barons Enjoy Homecoming/Alumni Weekend

Brewton-Parker College’s Office of Alumni Relations presented several special annual awards to BPC alumni and friends of the college during Homecoming/Alumni Weekend, Feb. 10-11.

BPC to Offer Pillars of Excellence Scholarship


Brewton-Parker College will award the Pillars of Excellence Scholarship to six academically-qualified freshmen enrolling in Fall Semester 2012.

BPC Cheerleaders Will Raise Funds by Waiting Tables at Pizza Inn

  The Brewton-Parker cheerleading squad will hold a fundraiser on Wednesday, January 8, at the Vidalia Pizza Inn, from 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.

FCA Gets on the Way   

  Around 25-30 students attended the FCA Spring Kick-Off hosted by the Baron’s Athletic Program on Wednesday evening, February 1st.

  The 2012 Mr. and Miss BPC Pageant will be held Friday, February 11 at 6 p.m. in Gilder Recital Hall. This poise, beauty and scholarship competition, hosted by the Office of Student Affairs, is part of the 2012 Alumni Weekend activities.
