BPC announces Homecoming/Alumni Week theme
MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College’s Office of Alumni Relations, along with Student Activities Council, announced the theme for 2012 Homecoming week and dance, said Jessica James, Interim Vice President for College Advancement. This year’s Homecoming/Alumni celebrations will be held Feb. 6-11.
“Passport to Paris” will be this year’s theme. BPC students will announce the 2012 Homecoming Court representatives and king and queen between the Men’s and Women’s basketball games Saturday, Feb. 11.
Activities and “Crazy Days” are as follows:
- Feb. 6: Twin Day; Fear Factor Pep Rally, 9 p.m., Gillis Gymnasium
- Feb. 7: Career Day-Job Fair in Phillips Student Center; Pastor Johnny Hunt, Saliba Chapel, 11 a.m.
- Feb. 8: Tacky Day
- Feb. 9: Spirit Day
- Feb. 10: Homecoming/Alumni Parade, 1:30 p.m.
- Feb. 11: Half Century Club Breakfast, 8 a.m., Cyber Café; Alumni Tribute and Award Service, 10:30 a.m., Gilder Recital Hall; Parisian-Style Alumni Luncheon, 12 p.m., Parker Gym; Homecoming Basketball games, Women, 2 p.m., Men, 4 p.m.; Presentation of Homecoming Court, 3:45 p.m., Gillis Gymnasium; Mr. and Mrs. BPC Pageant, 6 p.m., Gilder Recital Hall; Homecoming/Alumni Dance, 9 p.m., Parker Gym.
