MOUNT VERNON— Faculty, staff, and students bid farewell to two long-time staff members, Director of Residence Life, Greg Coursey, and Administrative Assistant to the Provost, Lynn Jackson, during the week prior to spring break. These two dedicated individuals have impacted the college in a number of ways, building strong bonds and fond memories with fellow workers and students.
Alum Greg Coursey served over 4 years at Brewton-Parker College, working in various positions including Admissions Counselor, Assistant Director of Admissions, and Interim Director of Admissions. His favorite thing about working at BPC is being able to build relationships with the students and having them know they could count on him. “I love BPC and always will. The college has a special place in my heart, and I have faith that it will continue to grow. Everyone will always be in my thoughts and prayers.”
Lynn Jackson devoted 9 years of service as an Administrative Assistant and Assistant to the President. She says the best thing about working at BPC is the people, especially the students. “I have enjoyed my time here and have made some wonderful friends. I will miss my coworkers and thank them for their friendship, advice, and support. I wish for them and for the College God’s best.”
Both will be missed as they continue their careers away from Brewton-Parker College. Coursey will take up the position as Assistant Director of the Augusta Technical College Waynesboro Campus, and Jackson will work as Administrative Assistant for Technology at East Georgia College.
