1st Annual BPC Baron Bash Draws Crowds

The winning Chili Cook-Off teams are pictured: Community Hospice (People’s Choice); Youth for Christ (Judges 1st Place); Treehouse of Vidalia (Judges 2nd Place); and Clarke Appliances (Judges 3rd Place).

Winners of the Scottish games are, for the males: Jake Shumpeft (1st Place); Eddie Peyton (2nd Place); and Dewayne Bynum (3rd Place). For the women, Kim Kearn took 1st Place.

A ribbon ceremony was held in the Baron’s Den to display the artwork of students from Montgomery County Elementary School. The entries will be on display in the Gillis Gymnasium for one month.

1st Annual BPC Baron Bash Draws Crowds

Brewton-Parker College’s Mount Vernon campus was anything but quiet Saturday, Nov. 10, as many students, faculty, staff, and community members gathered for the 1st Annual BPC Baron Bash. The day’s events included Scottish games, a chili cook-off, lawn sale, Math & Science Festival, Historic Village tours, and much more.
