BPC Luau: Laughter, Splashing, and No Pig

MOUNT VERNON— The pool opened on September 4, 2012 as part of the late night BPC Luau event. DJ Kurt Kight kept the atmosphere fun with current popular songs which even inspired some students to attempt an aquatic version of the cha-cha slide. Friends clustered together in the shallow end or alongside the pool to unwind from a day of classes. Of course, there were plenty of the typical dunking wars in the pool. Although a roast pig did not complete the Luau theme, plenty of Chex mix and cupcakes were available for students to snack on.
The Luau was a BPC sponsored event planned by Student Activities.
Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college south of Macon and north of Jacksonville, FL.
