BPC Seeks Vendors for Nov. 10 Lawn Sale

MOUNT VERNON— Brewton-Parker College invites vendors and bargain to participate in its 3rd Annual BPC Lawn Sale.

Save the date of Saturday, November 10 for a fun, family time at the Mount Vernon campus where area residents can sell their unwanted home and yard items. Arts and crafts vendors are also welcome.

This event will be held between 9:30 a.m. and noon on the front lawn of the campus, which fronts Highway 280.

Booths, $20 each, are approximately 10-ft. by 10-ft. Participants are to bring their own tables and chairs. Set up is at 9 a.m. and the sale is scheduled to start at 9:30 a.m. Booth offerings should be consistent with BPC’s Christian mission and identity. The Lawn Sale will be part of the Baron Bash, which will include Scottish games for adults and children, Math & Science Fair, children’s arcade, pictures with Santa Claus, local entertainment, Mt. Vernon Elementary School art show, face painting, hay rides, Historic Village tours, paddle boat rides, a fire truck and race car to explore, plus a craft and yard sale. Concessions will also be available. The event is a fundraiser coordinated by the BPC Women’s Fellowship. All proceeds will go towards a student media room for BPC students.

Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college south of Macon and north of Jacksonville, FL.
