MOUNT VERNON— Dr. Ben Foxworth addressed BPC students on September 11, 2012. He warned the congregation of ensuing corniness before declaring the main point of his
message, “We miss God’s plans when we sit around on our hands.” Foxworth used Hebrews 3:12-19 as his main passage of scripture. He made the point that we purposely stop ourselves from doing God’s will if we sit on our hands. How do we spiritually stop from sitting on our hands? According to Foxworth’s points, we:
- Don’t doubt God
- Learn to take God at His word
- Don’t miss the importance of today
- Understand God’s history in your own life.
Ben Foxworth is the pastor of Ellaville Baptist Church in Ellaville, Georgia. Lauren Parnell gave the announcements, while Bryan Mauldin and the BCM band led the students in worship.
