BPC Welcomes New Students During Baron Weekend

MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College’s Mount Vernon campus welcomed incoming freshman and transfer students to campus this past weekend during Baron Weekend/Orientation.

The two-day event, Aug. 17-18, was dedicated to introducing new students to life as a Baron, while engaging them in activities and information sessions that assist them in the transition to the college. Fall semester classes began Monday, August 19, on both the Mount Vernon campus and at the Newnan Campus.

Brewton-Parker College is the only accredited four-year Christian college south of Macon and north of Jacksonville, FL. The mission of Brewton-Parker College, a Georgia Baptist college, is to develop the whole student through the application of Biblically-centered truth to a liberal arts curriculum in a community of shared Christian values.
