BPC Student Activities Announces Homecoming Week Theme

MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College’s Office of Student Actives announced the theme for 2014 Homecoming week and dance, said Jennifer Wooten, Director of Student Activities. This year’s Homecoming celebrations will be held Feb. 10-15.

“A Red Tie Affair” will be this year’s theme. BPC students will announce the 2014 Homecoming Court representatives and king and queen before the Men’s and Women’s basketball games Saturday, Feb. 15.

Activities are as follows:

  • Feb. 10: “A Beautiful You” Dessert Reception, 7:30 p.m., Cyber Café
  • Feb. 11: “Mr(s). Fantastic Reverse Beauty Pageant,” 8:30 p.m., Gilder Recital Hall
  • Feb. 12: Baseball vs. Paine College (DH), 1 p.m., BPC Baseball Field; Wrestling vs. Anderson University, 7 p.m., Gillis Gymnasium; Bonfire, 8:30 p.m., Baron Ridge Fire Pit
  • Feb. 13: Men’s Basketball vs. Southern Wesleyan, 8 p.m., Gillis Gymnasium; Dorm Feud Game Night, 9:30 p.m., Gilder Recital Hall
  • Feb. 14: Baseball vs. Auburn University at Montgomery, 6 p.m., BPC Baseball Field; Homecoming Tailgate, 5 p.m., BPC Baseball Field
  • Feb. 15: Homecoming Court pictures, 10 a.m., Gillis Gymnasium; Presentation of Homecoming Court, 11 a.m., Gillis Gymnasium; Homecoming Basketball games vs. Auburn University at Montgomery, Women, 12 p.m., Men, 2 p.m., Gillis Gymnasium; Baseball vs. Auburn University at Montgomery (DH), 1 p.m., BPC Baseball Field; Homecoming Dance, 8 p.m. to midnight, Cyber Café
