Brewton-Parker College Women's Soccer Team

The Brewton-Parker College women's soccer team, beginning the season with just 11 healthy players, offered its best defensive effort of the season Saturday in its 3-0 loss to Reinhardt College in Waleska.
The match was the Lady Barons' opener in Georgia-Alabama-Carolina Conference play and offered an improving effort that Brewton-Parker coach Jeremy Aven and the players hope ends a season-opening run of more-decisive defeats.
The Lady Barons returned to action Tuesday with a trip to Daytona Beach, Fla., for a 7 p.m. contest against Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University.
Brewton-Parker resumes GACC play Saturday with a 4 p.m. home contest against Auburn University-Montgomery and a Tuesday trip to Rome, Ga., to face Shorter College at 7 p.m.
