BPC Concert Choir plans fall tour, Nov. 21 on-campus concert
MT. VERNON - The Concert Choir of Brewton-Parker College will have a Nov. 21
performance in Saliba Chapel on the Brewton-Parker College campus, choir
director Dr. Mark Bowdidge has announced.
The 8 p.m. concert is free and will conclude the Concert Choir's fall tour.
On its tour, he select 38-voice choir will present concerts drawn from a diverse
repertoire representing musical styles that range from the 16th century to the
present. The accompanist for the choir is Charlene Wiggins.
The choir will perform on Saturday at the First Baptist Church of Kingsland at
6:30 p.m., Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Brunswick at 6:30 p.m. and
Monday at Bull Street Baptist Church of Savannah at 7 p.m.
The choir also will sing in the 11 a.m. worship service on Sunday at the First
United Methodist Church of Jacksonville, Fla. In addition, the choir will
present mini-concerts for students at Camden County High School, Brunswick
Christian Academy and Windsor Forest High School.
