BSU missions fund-raiser culminates with pies in faces

Several Brewton-Parker College administrators and staff have agreed to take a pie in the face in a Baptist Student Union fund-raiser for missions on Tuesday, Nov. 12.

The pie tossing will be at 11 a.m. in the Brewton-Parker cafeteria, downstairs in the Phillips Student Center.

For each $100 raised, a drawing of names of those that contributed money will pick a person for the opportunity to throw a pie.

Willing targets who have agreed are: Dr. Ron Melton, provost; Dr. John Waters, vice president for enrollment services; Sherrie Helms, dean of students; Michael Aoa, director of student activities; and Rev. Al Rahn, campus minister and BSU advisor.

Donations from students or community members may be made to Rahn or Bobbi Goble at the Briscoe Center, BPC Ext. 212 or 583-3212 or to any BSU leadership team member.
