Events at BPC to celebrate Black History Week
MOUNT VERNON -- The Brewton-Parker College Black Student Fellowship and Total
Praise Choir are sponsoring a series of events Feb. 17-21 to celebrate Black
History Week at Brewton-Parker.
A variety show begins the week's festivities on Monday, Feb. 17, at Gates Hall
Auditorium starting at 6 p.m.
A night of movies and fellowship is set for Tuesday, Feb. 18, at 6 p.m. in the
Briscoe Center, and students will participate in a discussion time with Dr.
David Smith, Brewton-Parker's president, and wife Jackie at the president's home
Wednesday, Feb. 19, from 7-9 p.m.
The week's celebration concludes with a gospel choir concert Friday, Feb. 21, at
Saliba Chapel beginning at 7 p.m.
Admission is free to all events, and inquiries concerning any of the events may
