BPC student Salter awarded Georgia-Pacific Scholarship

VERNON - James Lester Salter, a senior at Brewton-Parker College from Adrian,
has recently been awarded the Georgia-Pacific Scholars Program Scholarship for
the 2003-04 academic year.

MOUNT
VERNON - James Lester Salter, a senior at Brewton-Parker College from Adrian,
has recently been awarded the Georgia-Pacific Scholars Program Scholarship for
the 2003-04 academic year.
The scholarship is provided by the Georgia-Pacific Foundation and is worth
$1,000 to Salter, an accounting major who also is a HOPE scholar. His plans
following graduation are to work as an accountant in Dublin and pursue certified
public accountant certification.
To be eligible for the Georgia-Pacific Scholars Program, a student must meet the
following criteria: a grade point of average of 2.5 or above, a demonstrated
financial need and a pursuit of studies in mathematics, engineering, sciences,
accounting, finance or business administration.
