Baron Weekend is a program that includes fun activities and informational seminars for new students and their parents. Throughout Baron Weekend, new students will learn the ins and outs of student life at Brewton-Parker College. Our overall goal is for you to feel welcome and simply have fun.

Parents are encouraged to stay through dinner on Saturday, August 17. There will be two important seminar sessions following move-in that parents are urged to attend.

 9:00am - New Student Move-In (Gilder Recital Hall)

 3:00pm - Orientation Seminar : Session I

  • Parents: Money Matters- Business Office and Financial-Aid (Gilder Recital Hall)
  • Students: Student Behavior and Academic Integrity (Briscoe Center)

 4:00pm - Orientation Seminar: Session II

  • Parents: Issues & Tissues (Residential Dining Hall)
  • Students: The Down Low (Cyber Cafe)

 5:00pm - Dinner (Residential Dining Hall)

 8:00pm - Orientation Kick-off Bash

Sunday, August 18

11:00am - Morning Worship Service (Saliba Chapel)

12:00pm- Lunch (Residential Dining Hall)

 3:00pm- Orientation Seminar: Session III

  • Student Support Services & Drug and Alcohol Awareness (Gilder Recital Hall)

 5:00pm- Dinner (Residential Dining Hall)

 9:00pm- Glow-in-the-Dark Dodgeball Tournament
