Why did you come to BPC? I always wanted to teach at a Baptist college. 

Courses you teach: General courses on the Old Testament, Old Testament Theology, Biblical Archaeology, and Biblical Hebrew

Interesting family facts: We are avid New Orleans Saints fans

Favorite music groups: No specific groups, but I love all genres except Country

What books, besides the Bible, have influenced you the most and why? Inspiration and Incarnation by Peter Enns. He does an excellent job of placing the Hebrew Bible into its context of the ancient Near East. Moreover, he makes his argument applicable for the church.
