Procedures
The Traditional
Applicant is an individual who graduated from high
school less than three years ago and must provide:
1) A completed online Application
for Admission or print a PDF
Application form and submit it with a $25 nonrefundable
fee. The PDF application requires Adobe Acrobate Reader
to print the form. You can download a free copy at:
2) Either:
- An official high school
transcript from an accredited high school with a diploma.
- An official GED exam score
with a minimum total score of 225 and a minimum score
of 40 on each section of the exam.
3) A high school cumulative
GPAof 2.00 indicating credit for a minimum of 13 academic
units distributed as follows:

4) Official SAT or ACT scores
report must be sent from the College Board or ACT directly
to the Admissions office or must be included on the student’s
high school transcript.
The Non-Traditional
applicant is an individual who graduated from a secondary
school more than three years prior to the first term of
desired enrollment at Brewton-Parker and must provide ALL
ITEMS LISTED ABOVE FOR THE TRADITIONAL APPLICANT WITH THE
EXCEPTION OF submission of SAT or ACT scores. If scores
are not submitted, the student will be required to take
a placement exam prior to the first term of enrollment.
The Transient
Applicant must provide a completed Application
for Admission with a $25 nonrefundable fee. A transient
letter from the student’s home institution indicating
that the applicant has permission to take specific courses
at Brewton-Parker College is also required.
The Transfer
Applicant must provide a completed Application
for Admission with a $25 nonrefundable fee and an official
transcript sent directly from each college/university previously
attended. If you have fewer than 30 semester hours of transferable
credit, you must provide an official high school transcript.
