The mission of Pi Gamma Mu is to encourage and promote excellence in the social sciences and to uphold the ideals of scholarship and service.

Any person of good moral character may be invited or may petition to join our Georgia Xi chapter of Pi Gamma Mu when he/she is a junior, senior, or graduate student; is in the upper 35 percent of the class; has at least 20 semester hours of social science; and has a grade average of B or better.

Here is a complete worksheet to calculate your eligibility for joining PGM. We have a great chapter and we hope you will consider membership. Consider joining and participating in Pi Gamma Mu if you are invited. Membership in PGM is also a distinction you will be proud to include on your resume. The modest initiation fee is well worth the opportunity to participate in Brewton-Parker Campus campus activities as well as national conventions.
Meet the newest members of Pi Gamma Mu here.
PGM is a major sponsor of the Albert Sidney Johnson Lecture Series at Brewton-Parker College.
