Career Services
provides assistance to students and alumni in planning,
reviewing, and implementing career goals. Various career-related
resources are available on the Internet and in the Career
Center. Freshman students are strongly encouraged to visit
Career Services during their first semester to learn more
about exploring careers and building résumés.
The Career Counselor can provide
assistance with activities such as choosing a major, exploring
career options, locating part-time, full-time, and summer
employment, creating and revising résumés,
and improving interviewing skills. Career assessment tools
may also be utilized as determined by each individual’s
needs.
Career Services is a division
of the Counseling Center located in the Cook Building on
the Mount Vernon campus.

guidance system. It can help students explore majors and career options, get information about specific careers,
plan for their career goals, and much more.
To access SIGI-3 you must
first login to CampusWEB
with a valid student ID. Once you have logged in to Campus
WEB, look for the SIGI-3 Icon on the bottom left.
Remember to schedule a follow-up
appointment with Tonia Spaulding, Director of Counseling Services,
to discuss the eSIGI results. Appointments can be made by
