MOUNT VERNON—Area youth ages 9-15 enjoyed a week-long science camp June 13-17 on Brewton-Parker College’s Mount Vernon campus. Under the direction of Dr. Helene Peters, BPC Associate Professor of Biology, campers analyzed DNA and fingerprints, examined organisms under microscopes, built models, dissected frogs, and solved a murder mystery. The next camp will be held July 11-15 from 9 a.m. to noon. The cost is $80 per student and includes a mid-morning snack.
