MOUNT VERNON—Brewton-Parker College crowned husband and wife, Stephen and Destinee Collins, Homecoming King and Queen Saturday, Feb. 4 at a ceremony inside the Gillis Gymnasium.
Stephen, originally from Milledgeville, Ga., is pursuing a Christin Studies degree with a minor in English. He is also a member of the BPC Ministerial Association. Destinee, originally from Waycross, Ga., is pursuing a General Studies degree. She is a member of the BPC cross country and track teams.
The class favorites are as follows: Freshman Class, Marquez Horton and Jincy Ray; Sophomore Class, Devon Briggs and Sydney Boyd; Junior Class, Devin Frails and Sarah Bullard; Senior Class, Stephen and Destinee Collins.
The Homecoming 2017 week concluded with the crowning of king and queen, a Homecoming dance, and Homecoming basketball games.
This year’s Homecoming Court also included the following students: Seniors, Cameron Bokenham, Arthur Hairston, Tasha Taylor, and Summer Whitmire.
