Brewton-Parker College’s alumni choir will be performing a mini-concert on Saturday, April 14 as part of Baron Weekend. The community is invited to attend this event. Over 300 choir alumni will gather from all across this country to sing together once again.
Dr. Hildegard Stanley, distinguished professor emeritus, said: “If you remember choirs from the past you will want to attend. Churches, load up your vans and bring your people! Print this event in your newsletters and church bulletins.”
The alumni choir performance will be held in Saliba Chapel as part of the alumni honors ceremony. Baron Weekend events are open to all alumni, supporters, and friends of the college. There are activities scheduled for all ages. A luncheon and dessert/class reunions with entertainment provided by folk groups from the past will follow the Honors Ceremony program. Luncheon tickets cost $15 and can be purchased at www.bpc.edu/alumni or by contacting Special Events Director Kim Lajiness at klajiness@bpc.edu.
If you are a former BPC choir member and have not registered for the alumni choir, contact hstanley@bpc.edu.
