October 21-27 is National Chemistry week and Brewton-Parker College invited AP Chemistry students from Robert Toombs Christian Academy and Mrs. Ashley Lampp, their chemistry teacher, to join them for a fun Chemistry event on Friday October 26th. The event was also open to the community.
Dr. Wanda Rodriguez Rivera wowed participants with an explosive elephant toothpaste demonstration. Brewton-Parker College students studying chemistry and biology assisted in the Chemistry laboratory with a flame-test experiment and also helped the students to make tie-dye t-shirts with fun, bright patterns.
