Biography

Dr. Hardy attended Georgia Southern University for her Undergraduate and Graduate degrees in Exercise Physiology. After graduation, she was the Lead Clinical Exercise Physiologist in a Cardiopulmonary Rehabilitation Unit in Savannah, GA. As an internship coordinator, Dr. Hardy enjoyed the teaching aspect and made the transition in education full-time as a Health Science Technology Educator at a Career and Technical Education school in Beaufort, SC. After earning her Ph.D. in Health Science and Leadership, Dr. Hardy is fortunate to teach many students in multiple majors in both Biology and Sport & Exercise Science courses. Dr. Hardy is enjoying the slow-paced life in Eastman, GA with her husband and two daughters.

  • I was once an All-American swimmer but might have trouble touching in the deep end now
  • I taught myself to juggle in elementary school
  • I was a lifeguard throughout high school and college
